When it comes to technology, the WLIS Security stream takes a vendor agnostic approach, providing consulting, advisory and remediation for a variety of Security solutions and services. We follow industry methodology and practises, as defined by CoBIT, SABSA and ISO. We are supported by a strong Business Analyst and project delivery team, with each of our projects managers being accredited in either PMP or PRINCE2 certifications.
Many organisations are feeling the pain of the constant pressure to protect their brand, their people and their data. Every day is a growing challenge to keep ahead of the threats and resolve application weaknesses before they can be exploited. This is compounded with the increasing demands of regulatory compliance and keeping the auditors satisfied.
At WLIS we recognise that developing a security strategy and business aligned architecture can be an overwhelming exercise with many challenges such as data and network security, security management and monitoring.
We help our customers understand the risks to their business and provide services from strategy development to tactical implementation.
WLIS follows a standardised consulting approach to project delivery that encompasses four phases.
Observe: Analyse the existing Security Policies, processes, risks and controls to obtain an understanding of the current environment and situation. Current State Analysis. Plan: Gap Analysis. Review organisational goals, mission and values. Assess results of Current State Analysis and capability and maturity gaps. Produce strategic and tactical planning to accomplish transformation. Document: Design and develop the Security solution. This phase includes defining the scope, roles and responsibilities, change management, communication and training requirements. Act: Implementation, testing, release, evaluation and closure.
